Tailwheel Training
Learn to Respect the Tailwheel
Understanding the airplane's limits can build better judgment, confidence and respect for tailwheel operations.

During their tailwheel training with Scotty at WETSU Aviation, pilots Jon and his training partner were surprised to learn that controlled ground-loop practice could be part of their training.
Their experience demonstrated an important principle of tailwheel flying: ground loops aren't to be feared, but respected.
Practicing at controlled, safe speeds can help pilots recognize the onset of a loss of directional control and better understand the limits of a tailwheel aircraft.

Cross Country Time Building
That's our Baron D55 at Oshkosh — AirVenture, the largest airshow on Earth. It's the same airplane you'll fly to build real cross-country time, not just log hours in a pattern.
No rigid hour packages, no assembly-line pricing tiers. Just long legs at cruise power, where you can pull the power back, lean out, and actually fly the way fuel costs demand these days — instead of burning through gas chasing a volume quota. Every hour you log here is time you'd want in your logbook anyway: real cross-country planning, real weather decisions, real airports you've never seen before.
Who qualifies: Any pilot holding a multi-engine certificate — private or commercial. No hourly minimum required.
Rate: $385/hr aircraft includes safety pilot (fuel included)
This is N925M, one of the two Barons you'll fly to build real cross-country time. Long legs, cruise power, and a lot of runway between here and wherever you're headed next.
